DAMAC Properties, the leading Middle Eastern developer and luxury lifestyle provider, has announced Krishna Parmar as the third fortnightly winner of a luxury car in the company’s 72-day long Dubai Summer Surprises 2007 promotion. The Nottingham based optician, originally from India, has won a yellow Lamborghini Gallardo Coupe.
Winning the Lamborghini Gallardo coupe is a dream come true for Krishna: “As my daughters approach their teenage years, winning the car could not have happened at a better time in my life. I have always loved the idea of driving a sports car with the top down and now DAMAC Properties has made it a reality!”
To qualify for the lucky draw, Krishna bought a 1,300sqft two-bedroom property on the 10th floor of ‘DAMAC Heights’ in Dubai Marina. Krishna plans to use the luxurious ocean-facing apartment as a holiday home for herself and her two daughters.
Krishna comments: “Dubai is close to my heart as I have many friends living there whom I visit regularly. I have thoroughly enjoyed every visit to Dubai and I love the thriving cosmopolitan community where people are friendly and the standard of service is outstanding. I also enjoy the fact that the sun always shines in Dubai!”
With the view to relocate to Dubai in the future, Krishna has also bought two commercial retail units from DAMAC Properties at ‘Emirates Gardens’. The Mediterranean themed development is in the low-rise residential oasis of Jumeirah Village South, nestled between Dubailand and the International Media Production Zone.
Krishna continues: “Commercial property in Dubai is only now experiencing the investment potential and rental returns that residential property did 5 years ago. Considering the population is expected to increase by approximately four million people by 2010, the business opportunities in Dubai are endless. I plan to rent out the commercial units until I am ready to relocate my business to Dubai in the next few years.”
