However, on the 6th and 7th of October, those from the American Le Mans Series and the V8 Supercars combine for an unforgettable weekend! Petit Le Mans and the 1000kms of Bathurst, two of the most famous endurance races in the world make a fantastic combination, only made better by the superb coverage you can find of both races on Motors TV in October.PETIT LE MANS LIVE!Don Panoz’s passion for the Le Mans 24 Hours tempted him to create the American Le Mans Series. The American, owner of the Road Atlanta circuit in Georgia, also created the ‘Petit le Mans’ round! With an overall racing period of ten hours or 1000 miles, Petit Le Mans is the second longest race on the ALMS calendar after Sebring. As in Sebring, three-driver teams take on the gruelling race. This will be the opportunity to see the likes of Tom Kristensen or Frank Biela with Audi and Emmanuel Collard with Penske Porsche. Motors TV, the Endurance TV channel, which exclusively broadcasts the ALMS, will bring full LIVE coverage of Petit le Mans on Saturday 6 October from 15.30. BATHURST 1000KMS: AN AUSTRALIAN’S SUNDAYAfter a few hours break it’s time to head to Australia and the Blue Mountains, to Bathurst for the not-to-be-missed race of the V8 Supercars Series. Bathurst, as all Motors TV fans know, guarantees suspense and intense racing throughout. On this twisty track, mistakes are never too far away and each position gained is a real challenge. Last year’s winners, Craig Lowndes and Jamie Whincup (Ford Falcon BA Triple 8) return this year in great form at exactly the right time to face the nearly unbeatable Holden VE. Will Garth Tander (HSV) recover following his lack of luck from last year? Will Rick Kelly achieve a hat trick?

There’s only one way to find out: tune in to Motors TV on Sunday 7 October from 11am for exclusive coverage of the Bathurst 1000kms.

Motors TV also brings coverage of the Sprint races on the streets of Surfers Paradise on Sunday 21 October at 14.30.DTM: THE CLASSIC HOCKENHEIM FINALEDTM, the German Touring Car championship, will end its 2007 season where it started: at Hockenheim. Between Audi and Mercedes, the competition has never been so close and tensions are rising between the two manufacturers. This promises to be a very exciting finale, LIVE on Sunday 14 October from 12.45.

Also not to be missed are the two F3 Euroseries races, the first one on Sunday 14 October at 10am DELAYED AS LIVE and the second LIVE at 11am.ALMS LAGUNA SECA: LIVE TO FINISH THE SEASON!Four hours live to end the season in style! California and its Laguna Seca circuit (with its famous ‘corkscrew’ corner) will host the final round of the 2007 ALMS season. The duel between the Audi R10 and the Porsche RS Spyder should once again be closely fought. Round 12 of the ALMS is LIVE on Saturday 20 October from 22.30.ALSO....WSBK: Magny-Cours welcome the 13th and final round of the World Superbike championship. The Supersport champion may already be decided, Kenan Sofuoglu succeeding Sébastien Charpentier, but the tension in the Superbike category remains high. Briton’s James Toseland is still in line for a second world title, but to clinch it and before moving to Moto GP next year, he will have to score strong points in the last two meetings of the season at Vallelunga and Magny-Cours.

The highlights of the two Superbike races, the Supersport and European Superstock Cup races, will be on Motors TV on Thursday 4 and 11 October from 21.00.

AN EVENING AT THE MOTORSHOWS

When the Paris motorshow is having a year off like this year, the Parc des Expositions in Paris does not remain closed: welcome to the motor bike show. Cars are on show however in one Europe’s biggest motorshows in Frankfurt, home soil for the German manufacturers.

The Frankfurt motorshow and the bike motorshow in Paris are both on Motors TV on Monday 1 October from 19.30.
