Lancashire rally specialists EURORALLYE have just added a highly successful new car to their expanding fleet of rally cars for hire. The Barnoldswick based company have purchased an ex-David Bogie Vauxhall Nova 1400 16v as successfully campaigned by the young Scotsman in the Scottish Rally Championship during the past couple of years.
The high specification Nova joins the Proton Satria 1600 in the hire fleet available through Andrew Wood Motorsport for hire from the E.W Motor Services Lindisfarne Rally onwards where Donald Brown will use the car. Equally, the Proton has proved to be very popular car with customers so far. The car is already booked for hire into the 2008 season thanks to its strong performances and excellent reliability record.
The 1400 Nova is set to follow in the footsteps. The car is ideally suited to the popular BTRDA based National 1400 Rally Championship and also the Scottish Rally Championship. The Nova can run at the front of the field in both series whilst the Proton can run at the front on the Scottish Championship.
EuroRallye’s Iain Shirlaw was delighted with the new purchase and was keen to build on success:

David Bogie used the car to take class wins and Top 20 finishes on the likes of the Park Systems, RSAC Scottish and the Colin McRae Stages, so we know that the car is ready to do battle in any 1400 class or category. Andrew Wood Motorsport have done a great job in running the Proton Satria 1600 and I’m sure that their experience will ensure that the Nova goes on to be a reliable and consistent performer from us. We’ve deliberately gone for a very sensible hire cost and package so I’m sure we’ll have plenty of interest in both cars in the future months.”
