CARS INTERNATIONAL KENSINGTON TURNS INTO A LUXURY RESTAURANT
BBC TV CELEBRITY CHEF JAMES MARTIN TREATS GUESTS TO A GOURMET MENU
Cars International Kensington, a leading worldwide supplier of high-performance road and racing cars turned its showroom into a luxury restaurant on Tuesday 4th September.
Guests were treated to a gourmet menu prepared by BBC TV star chef James Martin. The exclusive evening was attended by 40 VIPs, new and existing clients, private aviation specialist Air Partner, as well as former Formula One driver and ITV commentator Martin Brundle. James Martin cooked an exclusive menu to the guests’ delight which included Pressed terrine of Muscat chicken and foie gras with seared oranges and Muscat jelly, Roasted pumpkin risotto with warm keracher smoked salmon and lobster oil and Warm white chocolate and whisky croissant pudding with single malt ice cream.
Each course was presented and complemented with a specially selected wine by Christophe Galez of Champagne & Chateaux Ltd.
Paul Osborn, co-owner of Cars International commented: “Guests were delighted by this very special evening. James cooked an amazing gourmet menu and while savouring the scrumptious courses guests were also able to admire cars displayed in the mews outside the showroom.”
Media man Tony Jardine, fresh from his outing with Paul Osborn and Cars International’s Ferrari 250 Lusso at Goodwood Revival, hosted the evening.
At the end of the dinner, Tony Jardine invited Martin Brundle to join him in a forum to discuss the exciting current F1 season and the fierce battle both on track and in the courts between Ferrari and McLaren. Guests were also invited to participate, with Martin taking questions about Formula One. “
Fabulous food, extraordinary wine and distinguished guests made the exceptional evening a resounding success,” added Jonathan Kaiser, Cars International co-owner.
