But J. Miller Extends Points Lead

In the two rounds of the BFGoodrich/Skip Barber National Presented by Mazda at Miller Motorsports Park supporting the Grand-Am Sunchaser 1000, Stevan McAleer won a hard-fought first race after leader Ricky Taylor went four-off with three laps to go.

Taylor recovered to finish second while points leader Joel Miller was third. It was McAleer’s first Skip Barber National victory. In the weekend’s second race, A.J. Riley won his second of the year, taking the lead mid-race to beat Miller and McAleer. Miller’s now has a hard-tosurmount 32 point lead over Riley in the chase for the Skip Barber National title as the series heads to the two-race finale at VIR in early October.
