International Formula Master update
Best weekend to dateMedia information: 27 September 2007 ADM Motorsport’s Frankie Provenzano enjoyed a great weekend at Brands Hatch, scoring his two best finishes of the season, a fifth and sixth place. Posting the fifth fastest time during qualifying proved a great start to the Italian’s weekend, although he believes he had the pace to qualify as high as third. Frankie ProvenzanoFrankie Provenzano, 21, ADM Motorsport “It’s my first time at Brands Hatch and I was at the top of the timesheets during free practice. I qualified fifth but it could have been better; I think I had the pace to be third. We looked at our telemetry and also Siedler’s afterwards and found some good pace. “In race one, my start was not so good but I didn’t lose position. Andersen passed me on the second lap but when Meadows spun out, I was able to pass Andersen back.“When the safety car came out, I was up to fourth place and tried to follow Siedler at the restart. I kept position for the whole race but had a bit of under-steer. Then van der Drift came up behind me very quick and passed me, which meant I was fifth. “We tried a different set-up during warm-up on Sunday but it was no good so we changed back to the original plan. Starting from fourth, I was hoping for an even better finish in race two than sixth place but it’s still the best weekend for me, so I’m glad!” The 2007 FM team title chase is still onTeam fight is still onWith the Formula Master driver title now decided, the fight remains for the best 2007 team to be decided.
