Cram Competition’s Jérôme D’Ambrosio helped his team seal the Formula Master (FM) team title today in Monza with another stunning win.
The Belgian qualified third but a bad start saw him drop down to fifth. Fighting his way through the field, the 21-year-old showed his racing skills on the historic track with daring moves on his fellow FM racers.
The most impressive involved passing Alan Racing’s Pablo Sanchez Lopez for the lead. The 17-year-old Mexican went on to finish second whilst Luca Persiani, driving for Scuderia Famà, claimed third place.
Jérôme D’Ambrosio, Cram Competition
“I didn’t know we had taken the team title, that’s fantastic! We came here to win it although I wanted to win the race too. All season the car has been really good but it’s been even better these last few races. I’m so glad for the team; they really deserve this win.”
