Jordan shines in debut BTCC test
Andrew Jordan had his first test session in a BTCC car at Silverstone on Friday (October 19) and impressed onlookers with the way he adapted to the new challenge.Andrew was driving the Honda Integra that he will race next year alongside his father Mike in a two-car squad from Team Eurotech and got to grips extremely well with the car during a busy general test day."I felt comfortable in the car straightaway," said 18-year old Andrew. "The biggest difference is the brakes. You can get into them as hard as you like! It's a pure race car compared to the Renault Clio I've been racing this season," he said.In total, Andrew completed around 70 laps in a hugely successful day and will continue his testing programme in November.Andrew will make his BTCC debut when the 2008 season starts at Brands Hatch on 29/30 March.Andrew Jordan is supported by John Guest, Bill Gwynne Rally School and Pirtek.Andrew is an MSA British Race Elite Driver and a BRDC 'Rising Star'.
