7 hours of coverage in season review

An astonishing seven hours of coverage from this year’s Dunlop MSA British Touring Championship have been crammed into its official season review DVD that goes on sale later this month.

Produced by Duke Video, extensive coverage of the 30-round BTCC season is included on the twin-disc DVD set that is priced just £19.99. Commentary comes from ITV duo Ben Edwards and Tim Harvey.

The review follows what emerged as one of the closest fought BTCC title battles on record and which culminated in Vauxhall’s Fabrizio Giovanardi and SEAT’s Jason Plato heading into the final round separated by just one point.

But there were other winners too – eight different drivers celebrated victory and several new names came to the fore. Plus there was the usual door-to-door, bumper-to-bumper action including spins, crashes and sensational car control galore that has made the BTCC famous among motor sport fans the world over.

BTCC Series Director Alan Gow says: “The BTCC prides itself on providing quality, affordable entertainment for the public to enjoy. I was delighted when Duke told me the season review would contain seven hours of footage. It is staggeringly good value for money.

“For any BTCC fan, this DVD will make for a great present to fill the hours while relaxing during the Christmas break or indeed as a collection of truly great memories from what has been a magnificent season for the championship.”

The official 2007 BTCC season review DVD can be pre-ordered on Duke’s website dukevideo.com

Alternatively, the DVD goes on sale on 19 November in all leading stockists.
