American Le Mans Series, 2007 Season ReviewSaturday 24 November, 19:30IRISH RALLYDespite Mark Higgins’ heroics in Rally Japan, having driven with a broken collarbone, fifth place wasn’t enough to keep the likeable Brit’s Production car World Rally Championship title hopes alive. That leaves just one man, Argentinian Gabriel Pozzo, able to deny Toshi Arai the crown. Pozzo’s win in the Far East, coupled with a zero points score for the Japanese driver, leaves him needing two wins to take the title and, with Arai missing Rally Ireland, another victory will make things very interesting. Motors TV has highlights as the contenders hit the asphalt roads of Sligo for the penultimate round of the 2007 season.
