A successful debut for teams “It Loox Racing” (Sebastiani) and “Traini” (Cozzari).

Rigon tests the 2008 car

At the end of the first day of Formula 3000 tests in Magione, experience made the difference with Puglisisetting the fastest time of the session.

The 21 year old driver, at the wheel of a Minardi / GP Racing car, clocked an excellent time of 1'03 "841. Behind him, the Sebastiani twins with Niky just one tenth faster than his brother Valentino.

The Sebastianis will take part in today's session in order to get training in view of their participation to the 2008 Euroseries 3000 season with “It Loox Racing”.

It was the first time in F3000 for Hugo Oliveras, Fabio Beretta Jr. and Matteo Cozzari. Cozzari, the 17 year old from Perugia and current champion in Italian F3 “Trofeo Nazionale CSAI” with Team Traini car (5th overall).

A good debut also for Mexican Oliveras, PanamGP Series champion, who steadily improved his lap times during the session without making any mistakes.

The young Elk Motorsport Brazilian, Fabio Beretta Rossi Jr., coming from F3 Sudam, will continue testing today

The 2008 car went well on the track, with paddleshift and new suspensions. The current F.3000 champion, Davide Rigon, tested it and was enthusiastoc about the performance of the car.
