kicks off April 25th

 The Need For Speed European Drift Championship gets underway next weekend at Oulton Park Circuit - Saturday April 25th - the first Round of 2009.  

The Round is being held at the Modified Live show, which also features Round 1 of the Time Attack Series as well as many other features.

It will also see the first showing of the beautiful and brand new Sumo-sponsored Lexus IS200 Drift Car of Steve Evans who has our infamous Hyper Zero 1 wheels installed.

After having the ultimate end of the year car show at Snetterton Race Circuit in October 2008, the north of England was screaming out for the show to visit them and

April 25th will be the date that Modified Live takes over Oulton Park Race Circuit in Cheshire.

Kicking off with the first round of both Time Attack & The European Drift Championship, Drift Taxis, Show & Shine, Artic Truck race exhibition and much much more.

We'll in true no-nonsense Time Attack style, the clock doesn't lie and we're all set to find out as the Maxxis BSB team take on the might of the Norris Designs SWB Evo on track and under official timing to fight it out and settle the age old argument of pub talk...Running on track at the same time but at split intervals its our chance to see if a top end and infamous tuned car is quicker than that of a biker's hero machine, a BSB and not just any, but the Maxxis BSB team.Simon Norris said ' Bring it on, my cars all new, 950bhp and as long as we've got it dialled in well for the event as its 09 spec is still being fettled I'm confident we can settle the argument once and for all - and on Time Attack Toyo's. Cant wait to represent the scene for this, it should be a good laugh, hopefully I can keep it on the track!!'
