TAI Woffinden and Simon Stead have been handed the track reserve positions for the British Grand Prix on June 27.Woffinden said: "I want to get into the GPs as quickly as possible, and this is a great experience. It is an amazing atmosphere in Cardiff."Stead added: "It is great to be involved, and if I get the chance then I will just try to take it with both hands."
(SPEEDWAY 2) CHARLES Wright and John Branney have both been ruled out of Workington's home clash with Somerset on Saturday.Wright has hand and heel injuries, whilst Branney has a damaged ankle and a sore hand. Sheffield's Paul Cooper has been booked to guest.Comets boss Ian Thomas said: "They have both been in the wars this season and I suspected on Sunday that they wouldn't be fit for this weekend."
