INJURY-hit Edinburgh have added German champion Kevin Wolbert to their side for the rest of the season.The 20-year-old beat Coventry star Martin Smolinski in a run-off for the national crown last September and won a World Under-21 qualifier.Monarchs co-promoter John Campbell said: "Kevin is extremely keen to ridefor us and has been willing to give up most of his commitments to join the club."

SHEFFIELD have signed club asset Scott Smith as a short term replacement for the injured Paul Cooper.Smith, who first joined his hometown club in 1996, hasn't raced this season and will make his return at Berwick on Saturday.Sheffield owner Neil Machin said: "Scott's excited about riding for us and it's ironic he makes his return at his former club on Saturday. He can do well for us."
