The seventh programme in the dedicated television coverage of the 2009 Porsche Carrera Cup GB will be broadcast in the Motorsport UK programme on ITV4 at 5pm on Tuesday 25 August, on ITV1 on the night of Thursday 27 August and repeated on ITV4 on the afternoon of Saturday 1 August.The Motorsport UK series, which has been extended to hour-long programmes for 2009, will cover all of the Carrera Cup GB action this year. Round eleven of the season at Snetterton will feature in the next programme.Motorsport UK will be broadcast as follows:Tuesday 25 August at 5pm on ITV4Friday 28 August at 12.30am on ITV1 Saturday 29 August at 4om on ITV4Viewing figures from Motorsport UK in 2008 showed a typical total programme audience of over half a million viewers. Motorsport UK can also be watched at itv.com and is available for viewing for 28 days after the initial broadcast date.In addition to the highlights programmes, the Carrera GB Cup has been enjoying unprecedented live coverage on ITV4 during the extensive BTCC race day programme. At Croft, Snetterton and Knockhill, the Sunday afternoon Carrera Cup GB race was broadcast live, while the opening race of each day was also recorded and broadcast during the racing lunch break. That meant a total of around an hour of prime time coverage from each of those meetings, with ITV4 live audiences running at up to one million viewers.
