Amazing result for Racecar customer - Fisi! - who drove the wheels off the highly improved Force India to gain pole. The whole paddock greeted the result with shock - but it's a fabulous result for the team.

Interesting amid speculation that Ferrari are considering Fisi to replace poor old Luca Badoer - that Fisi puts in the qualifying performance of his life. And before you think he must be running on a thimble of fuel - he was amongst the fastest in Q2 - when everyone was running light - so although he maybe light on fuel - this was a genuine stellar performance on the big balls track in the GP calendar!

Funny watching Mallya on the pitwall as it dawned on him that Fisi had got the job done - for a moment he appeared to stare at the timing screen in disbelief!

Q2 weeded out both Mclarens and Button. You can imagine the humour in Woking when Force India with a Merc mill in the back not only outqualifies a Mclaren - but is on pole

Message to Ferrari - give Enrico Zanarini a call and get Fisi in the car for the rest of the season!
