SPEEDWAY 1SWINDON boss Alun Rossiter is backing his side to beat Wolverhampton and finish top of the Elite League on Thursday.The sides clash in Wiltshire after winning their respective meetings on Monday - Swindon against Poole and Wolves against Peterborough.Said Rossiter: "We've been taking it one match at a time so now we can focus on Wolverhampton and with home advantage I believe we can beat them."

SPEEDWAY 2BEN Wilson is hoping to be fit for Redcar to face his former club Sheffield this week.Wilson, who moved to Teesside during the winter, suffered a broken heel last week but hasn't ruled out a quick return.He said: "The break is on the edge of the heel, I'm going to have a practice and I may yet ride this week.
