BBC F1s Jake Humphrey to race at Silverstone

Jake Humphrey, the front man for BBC's Formula 1 coverage, will race in the Elise Trophy at Silverstone on 10th October.

Humphrey completed his ARDS test a couple of weeks ago, as shown during BBC's coverage of the European GP. He will be driving the Lotus Elise S1 previously raced by ex Lotus F1 driver Martin Donnelly and 'fastest man on Earth' Andy Green.

Jake announced on Twitter that he will have co-presenters David Coulthard and Eddie Jordan as his driving coach and team boss respectively, something he described as hilarious!

An additional race for Production class only will be added to the schedule on 10th October and the BBC will be showing how Jake gets on later that month as part of their F1 coverage.
