COVENTRY have booked their place in the Elite League play-offs - despite slipping to a 52-44 defeat at Eastbourne.The Bees will face league leaders Swindon in the semi-finals and will stage their home leg on Monday, September 21.Bees co-boss Peter Oakes said: "We've said along that the target was to get into the play-offs. We've qualified based on what's happened all season, not just in the last few weeks."

LAKESIDE boss Jon Cook is beginning preparations for their Elite League play-off with Wolverhampton.The Hammers will go to Monmore Green on September 21 with the return the following Monday.Said Cook: "It's a terrific achievement for us to reach the play-offs for a second successive season and we will do everything we can to overcome Wolves over two legs. It will be tough but you never know."
