Rounds 13 & 14: Mallory Park, 5/6 September
The MSA British Superkart Championship went down to the wire at Mallory Park this weekend. James Tucker capped an impressive first season on Long Circuit by winning the final race of the championship, but it was too late to overhaul James O'Reilly, the UK Cup holder, who added the No. 1 plate after securing fourth place in the first race.
With six wins and three second places to Tucker’s four wins and five second places, O’Reilly is a worthy champion, but we can look forward to 2010 with great anticipation as O’Reilly defends his crown from the serious challenges of Tucker, Dredge, Platt and Moss.
