Speedy Team Sebah leading Michelin Green X Challenge

1000 KM OF SILVERSTONE – LMP1 PREVIEW

SPEEDY RACING TEAM SEBAH is aiming for a great result in the 2009 Le MansSeries finale at Silverstone on 13th September for the Autosport 1000 km.Andrea Belicchi, Marcel Fassler and Nicolas Prost are looking forward to Silverstonewhere they hope to acchieve the result they deserve with all the SPEEDY RACINGTEAM SEBAH crew.

At the previous race at the Nurburgring, once again the team demonstrated the abilityof the #13 Lola - Aston Martin to battle with the Aston Martin Racing factory cars forthe victory.

Unfortunately, an electrical problem disrupted the #13 Lola’s race when Nicolas Prostpitted for the second time, depriving the crew of its possible podium position. It took awhile for the prototype to return to the track after repairs to fix the problem.SPEEDY RACING TEAM SEBAH was all the more frustrated that the breakdownstemmed from a relay in the engine ignition system from a supplier. The part hadbeen changed as a precaution even though the original part had been used for aseason and a half without any problem.

The #13 Lola finished the 1000 km of Nurburgring in 6th place.

Andrea Belicchi : « I hope we will have a bit of luck this time. The team have workedvery hard this year to win a race overall and I think we can do it at Silverstone, I likethe circuit, we should have a good car again, so I am confident."

Marcel Fassler : « We want to get our revenge at Silverstone, we have a car thatcould allow us to beat our competitors and thats’ exactly what I want ! Silverstone is atrack where you can create a big difference during the race with strategy and driving.I think we have a good chance. »

Nicolas Prost : « We need to stay error-free and not have any problems with the car'sreliability but, with the work the team did since Nurburgring, I am confident. It isdifficult to make predictions for a six hour race but our target is definetly the top of thepodium ».

Bart Hayden, Team manager :« The LMP1 car had been updated since the last race and I am optimistic it will workwell on the Silverstone circuit. It has been a great experience competing in front ofthe LMP1 class this season and I think we have proved what we are capable of,especially with a 2008 car upgraded to 2009 regulations. We are also looking forwardto next season with high expectations. "
