EDOARDO PISCOPO WITH EMMEBI IN VALENCIA

The Euroseries 3000 by PartyPoker Racing is keeping up its growing momentum. Thanks toa last-minute agreement,  Edoardo Piscopo will race in the Valencia event. The strong Italian driver will be fielded by Emmebi Motorsport, the team managed by Massimo Beacco, who will add a car to the one driven as usual by Francesco Dracone.

Third in the Italian F.Renault 2.0 in 2006, 2nd in the the F.3 Italian Championship in 2008, Piscopo boasts also a wide international experience, built racing in Formula Two, A1 Gp and Formula Bmw. Besidesthat, he made an impression testing the Ferrari F1 car last November.

So, we asked Edoardo why he choose Euroseries 3000 by PartyPoker Racing:

“I decided to race in the Euroseries 3000 to prepare in the best possible way for the nextGP2 Asia Season, that I will hopefully contest. To do that, no car can be better than theEuroseries Lola B05/52. It’s very powerful and physical, I remember it from my A1 GpRacing, and with the modifications made by Coloni Motorsport now it’s even faster”.

Edoardo plays down his chances for the spanish event.

“I don’t expert anything special from this weekend because I will face a strong competitionfrom drivers with a great experience on this car. I hope to find quickly the right feeling, withthree races I hope to clinch a good result in at least one of them. Anyway, as I told before Iwill use this event to learn how to manage really high powered cars. In order to do that, I’dlike to race also in the final event in Monza, while I’ll miss Vallelunga due to clashing dates”.
