PAUL Clews has agreed a new deal to stay with Premier League Berwick.The Warwickshire-based rider has offers from elsewhere but decided to stay with the border club.Bandits co-boss John Anderson said: "He's a wonderful, inspiring club captain, he admitted he loved our circuit and he repeatedly told me how much he appreciated the Berwick fans. We're delighted to welcome him back on board for next season."

NEWCASTLE have made Derek Sneddon their sixth signing for the 2010 season.And that means all six riders back on board ended this year's campaign with the fast-improving Diamonds.Boss George English said: "Derek is as popular with the Geordie fans as the club is with him so we were thrilled when we learned of his availability.All the lads know each other so we're off to a head start with team spirit."

JOSH Auty is staying with Sheffield for next season - despite interest from elsewhere.Tigers owner Neil Machin said: "Josh is currently racing in Australia but we managed to tie up a deal despite competition from one or two other tracks. "He had a solid season with us which would have been much better had he been more prolific out of the gate which will come with experience."
