For his second day in an F1 cockpit, Daniel Ricciardo tackled a similarprogramme to yesterday, which involved getting to grips with the actual drivingand procedures that are unique to these cars, as well as trying two different tyrecompounds. The Australian also carried out various tests aimed at the 2010season: aero and brake testing, as well as running the car in the very heavyconfiguration resulting from next year’s ban on race refuelling.

“I found it a bit easier today,” said Daniel. “I knew what to expect this morningand the procedures were easier to understand, so I was able to concentrate onimproving my driving and hopefully give my best in terms of providing theengineers with good feedback.”

Ricciardo will be back in the cockpit for the final day of testing this year.
