Motor Sports council meets today to propose a new scoring scheme for the 2010 season

Currently the top eight finishers earn 10, eight, six, five, four, three, two and one point respectively.

Under thenew system  it is proposed that the winner will be awarded  25 points, 20 for second place, 15 for coming third and then 10, eight, six, five, three, two and one point.
