FORMER Hull star Garry Stead has paid tribute to his ex-team mate Emil Kramer who was killed in a road accident on Wednesday.Stead struck up a close friendship with the Swede during their time togetherwith the Vikings.He said: "We had some great times with Hull. Emil got me on GM engines after I used his bike one night and I never looked back. I'm stunned and shocked."

POOLE have snapped up Polish prospect Artur Mroczka for their 2010 EliteLeague title assault.Mroczka, 20, is from Grudziadz and gets the nod after impressing in four appearances for Poole late last season.Pirates chief Matt Ford said: "He showed a great deal of promise against Elite League opposition and, given time to adjust to British conditions, he'll be a useful addition to the side.
