SCUNTHORPE promoter Rob Godfrey is confident of beating the recent adverse weather to stage the inaugural Christmas Cracker meeting on Sunday.Premier League Riders' Champion Ricky Ashworth has joined the line-up along with Elite League star Ben Barker and comeback man Adam Roynon.Godfrey said: "We have a motorway blade on site plus four tractors to work on the track if necessary. We won't think twice about working every day."

SWINDON asset Mads Korneliussen will return to Blunsdon next season after spending 2009 on loan at Elite League rivals Peterborough.The popular Dane joins Leigh Adams and Grzegorz Zengota as a confirmed top-five starter for the Robins.Co-owner Gary Patchett said: "Mads has consistently upped his average whilst riding for Swindon and we're confident he can improve on his starting figure of 6.30 next season."
