POOLE boss Neil Middleditch insists there is a place open for Australian ace Jason Doyle at Wimborne Road next season.Doyle has said it's unlikely he will be back with the Pirates after missingl ast season with a shoulder injury.But Middleditch said: "There is a place for him. It's just a case for him to make a phone call and then we'll get the ball rolling. "He felt badly about letting us down last year through no fault of his own and he wants to make sure he is 100 per cent fit this time."

SWINDON legend Leigh Adams insists he hasn't made a firm decision on the timing of his retirement.The Robins have applied for a farewell meeting this year, but the man himself could yet carry on beyond 2010.He said: "It is a big decision and once I make an announcement, there will be no turning back, I can assure you. I am the sort of person that thinks about these things long and hard before saying anything, and that will be the case this time too."
