JASON Doyle is on his way back to Poole - ending weeks of speculation over his immediate future.The popular Australian missed most of last season after aggravating a shoulder injury early on but is now back racing in his home country.Pirates chief Matt Ford said: "Contrary to the stories that have been recently doing the rounds in the speedway press, Jason was always going to ride for us."In fact his deal was completed long before the Christmas holidays."

COVENTRY boss Colin Pratt will be fit for the start of the season after undergoing knee surgery last week.Pratt, a former rider, has been in charge of the Bees for over a decade and is one of the most highly respected figures in the sport.He said: "I'm on crutches for the time being which is frustrating so I'm having to do some work from home, but I'll be back up and running for the start of the new season which I'm looking forward to."
