(SPEEDWAY 1)RONNIE Russell has been unveiled as the new boss of Elite League side Swindon.Russell is the brother of club co-owner Terry and takes over from Alun Rossiter who has joined Coventry."I am absolutely delighted to have been chosen for the role of Swindon team manager and I'm overwhelmed with excitement," he said. I wholeheartedly understand that emotion and I feel equally passionate about bringing success to Blunsdon."(SPEEDWAY 2)LAKESIDE hero Adam Shields is the latest star name to be added to the Ben Fund Bonanza meeting at Rye House on March 14.The Australian is only too pleased to support the Speedway Riders'Benevolent Fund after suffering from injuries himself in recent seasons.He said "I know what the Ben Fund does and I was actually helped out last year while I was injured. It is a very worthy cause."It's a great time of year to have the meeting, everybody's really keen and wants to do well, it's a chance to show the hard work you've done over the winter."
