AARON Summers has been named as Coventry's number eight rider for the new season.The Australian has impressed Bees bosses with his determined displays during his time with Edinburgh in the Premier League.Manager Alun Rossiter said: "I've been keeping a close watch on Aaron'sprogress since he first came over here, and it will be good for him to get some Elite League outings for us. "He had a few meetings last year as a guest so he knows what to expect, and he was the rider who Colin (Pratt) and I wanted when we sat down to go through the options."

WOLVERHAMPTON have completed their 2010 Elite League squad by adding Cumbrian racer Richard Lawson as their number eight rider.Lawson, who will be 24 next month, rides full-time for Workington in thePremier League and will be available to ride for the Parrys International Wolves in the event of rider unavailability. He was a talented Moto-X rider before trying his hand at speedway and he hasa strong family connection in the sport as he is the son of Steve Lawson,one of the finest every riders in the second tier of British racing.
Wolves owner Chris Van Straaten said: "Richard is a very talented rider andI took a keen interest in his career right at the start a couple of years ago when he rode in the Conference League for Redcar."He's the type of rider to fit the bill at number eight, he's making progress in the sport and has a desire to succeed. He will always give maximum effort in every race."
