With the 2010 season fast approaching, Scuderia Toro Ross hasconfirmed that Jaime Alguersuari will drive for the team thisyear.

“Considering that he made his debut only halfway through 2009, atthe Hungarian Grand Prix, with no prior testing, he did a good job,making steady progress throughout the second half of the year, witha mature approach considering he is still only nineteen years old,”commented Team Principal, Franz Tost.

“This season, he willagain face a steep learning curve, as all the circuits in the first part ofthe season will be new to him. Jaime’s appointment also confirmsour team’s commitment to bringing on graduates of the Red BullYoung Driver Programme.”

Today’s announcement means the team retains the same driver lineup,as Alguersuari will again be partnered by Sebastien Buemi.
