East African Safari Classic RallyThe Safari may have disappeared from WRC schedules in recent years but that doesn’t mean there aren’t rally cars still hurtling across Africa. Resurrected in 2003, the East African Safari Classic Rally recreates an event that originally ran from 1953-1974 with, somewhat bizarrely, only pre-’71 machines now allowed. Taking in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, this trip down memory lane is a must for rally aficionados. -     Saturday, 20 February: 9.15pmAndros Trophy 2009/10 ReviewWe bring down the curtain on another wintery motorsport season with a look back over an Andros Trophy campaign that witnessed Alain Prost at the wheel of a Dacia Duster. It’s worth tuning in for that alone, surely?-     Monday, 22 February: 6.30pmFIM Ice Speedway World Championship Apologies, but it looks like I’ve lied to you. Just when you thought it was safe to pack away the gloves and scarf, the Ice Speedway boys knee slide their way onto your tele box. Answers on a postcard please as to why anyone would want to race a motorbike on ice, in Russia, which is the destination for rounds 1 and 2.     -     Tuesday, 23 February: 6pmLOORRSHas there ever been a more aptly named motorsport venue than Arizona’s Speedworld Offroad Park? Probably not. The mad truck racers go fairing-to-fairing once again around its mud-clad banks for rounds 15 and 16.-     Monday, 22 February: 9.15pm AMA Supercross The celestial-sounding Angel Stadium hosts round six of the high-flying scrambler extravaganza.-     Tuesday, 23 February: 7.05pmHKS Drag RacingIf your car’s Japanese and quick in a straight line then you’ll surely not want to miss this two-part show focusing on the HKS Drag Racing Series which, unsurprisingly given the first part of the description, caters for modified Japanese cars. -     Saturday, 20 February: 2pm
