Hillspeed and Dragon Kart Club Team-Up To Offer Fantastic Prize

Leading national motor racing team Hillspeed has teamed up with GYG Karting to offer a fantastic prize to the 2010 Dragon Kart Club Mini Max Champion – the opportunity to test either a Formula Renault single-seater or Ginetta G40 junior sportscar.

Hillspeed has a long association with graduates from the ranks of North Wales-based Dragon Kart Club – in 2010 the team will run James Theodore in the Formula Renault BARC Championship and 14-year-old Seb Morris, who still races in Mini Max, in the Ginetta G40 Championship. In addition, the squad has previously worked with local Welsh racing brothers Richard and Ryan Singleton.

Richard Ollerenshaw, team principal of Hillspeed, commented: “We’re very pleased indeed to be able to offer a testing prize in one of our Formula Renaults or Ginettas to the 2010 Dragon Kart Club Mini Max Champion.

“Hillspeed has a long and successful association with drivers who have come through the club and we aim to continue building on that. The eventual champion will be able to choose which car they test so it really is a great opportunity for one young driver to sample the next step on the motor racing ladder.”
