The return of V8 Supercars!Australia’s favourite motorsport returns for another season amid the distinctly un-Aussie surroundings of Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina circuit. Reigning series champion Jamie Whincup is going for three in a row this year, albeit without his trusty Ford Falcon, after defecting to Holden over the winter. In his way will be at least ten other men all with realistic hopes of wrestling the crown away for themselves. Well this lot are in a different league. Just like those high on fizzy stimulant, pilots have to negotiate a tight course at break neck speed. Unlike them though, Aero GP involves dropping bombs on targets while avoiding other planes trying to shoot them down.
