(SPEEDWAY 1)SWINDON boss Ronnie Russell believes the Leigh Adams factor has attracted a host of young riders to the club.Adams will retire at the end of the season after a glittering career - and Russell is full of praise for the Australian's influence."Leigh has been the catalyst that has brought all these young Australians to Swindon," said Russell. "They want to be involved with Swindon because of the education they get from him. "We've got good riders coming through and it's yet another thank you to Leigh Adams. His legacy will continue after he has retired."(SPEEDWAY 2)LAKESIDE boss Jon Cook believes Hammers fans will get value for money this season.Cook, alongside club owner Stuart Douglas, has tried to work around the Football World Cup with fixtures at Purfleet which means a busy August for the club.He said: "We have a good looking fixture list for the season ahead and having chosen to run bi-weekly during the Football World Cup when general public interest will be elsewhere we have a packed August for fans to enjoy."

(SPEEDWAY 3)POPULAR Pole Sebastian Ulamek is the latest big name to be added to Somerset's 10th anniversary celebration meeting.Ulamek, who is currently without a British club, will appear at the Oak Tree Arena on Friday, March 19. Rebels trio Shane Parker, Cory Gathercole and Steve Boxall have also been included.Rebels boss Debbie Hancock said: "I'm sure supporters can appreciate the amount of work which is going into this meeting. It should be a very special night."(SPEEDWAY 4)WOLVERHAMPTON star Freddie Lindgren has revealed his burning desire to become World Champion - but he's not putting himself under any pressure.Lindgren, who was the top rider in last season's Elite League, will remain patient as his career develops at the top level.He insists time is on his side as he prepares for the 2010 Grand Prix series which starts in April.Said Lindgren: "I know it's going to take time and I want to be fighting for the World Championship in about five years. I'm working on it and I'm not going to rush it."
