CHRIS Harris is ready to step up his performance level as Coventry skipper. The Cornishman insists he can maintain his position at the top of the Bees averages after a good run of form at the end of last season. He told speedwaygp.com: "I had a better year than I did the previous season and put a point on my average. But it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be - I wanted to be an out-and-out No.1."I didn't really achieve that until the last two months of the season. I feel I can really build on what I finished with last year and I'm ready to become an out-and-out No.1 this season."
