Round 1: Rallye Sunseeker - 26th-27th February Marcus Dodd and Andrew Bargery got their MSA Gravel Rally Championship title defence underway with a sensational seventh victory on Saturday’s Rallye Sunseeker in Bournemouth. The Hyundai Accent WRC crew emerged 33.7 seconds ahead of the Peugeot Cosworth of Andrew Burton and co-driver Robin Kellard (who are not registered for the MSA Gravel Rally Championship), with former ANCRO champion Steve Perez and co-driver Paul Spooner claiming third place a further 13 seconds back.Dodd said: "It's been a very difficult rally and the stages have been as wet as I've ever known them but to win this event for the seventh time is fantastic. One mile from the end of the last stage the water temperature shot through the roof but it was not a problem in the end and to claim victory on my local event is a great start to the year."Results1 Marcus Dodd/Andrew Bargery - 55m02.1s2 Andrew Burton/Robin Kellard - 55m35.8s3 Steve Perez/Paul Spooner - 55m48.8s4 Roger Duckworth/Mark Broomfield - 56m17.5s5 Paul Bird/Kirsty Riddick - 56:46.36 Jonny Milner/Ian Windress - 57:51.6Round 2: Pirelli Tour of Cumbria - 23rd-24th
