Hillspeed Takes Delivery Of First Customer Ginetta G40

Leading national motor racing team Hillspeed is pleased to report a positive maiden test for the first customer Ginetta G40 race car, after taking delivery of the brand new vehicle last week.

With just a month now remaining until the start of the 2010 Ginetta G40 Championship at Thruxton in Hampshire on 3rd/4th April, Hillspeed plans to put the car through its paces at several different venues over the coming weeks to prepare as well as possible for its debut campaign in Ginetta G40.

The team visited Silverstone’s Stowe Circuit recently for an initial shake-down of its new car – which will be piloted in this year’s championship by talented young karter Seb Morris – and the first reports from team principal Richard Ollerenshaw are certainly positive.

“Our shake-down at the Stowe Circuit last week went well so now we’re aiming to give Seb as much mileage in the new car as possible ahead of our championship debut next month”, said Ollerenshaw, “It’s an exciting time for the team as we expand our operations into Ginetta G40. We’re still on the look-out for another driver to partner Seb in the team this year so we’re welcoming all enquiries.

“Ginetta has done an incredible job with the G40, to design and build a car of this quality in eight months is testament to the professionalism of the marque and its commitment to national motor racing in the UK.”
