(SPEEDWAY 1) TEENAGE sensation Tai Woffinden is the new Wolverhampton skipper.Woffy, 19, is preparing for only his second full season as an Elite Leaguerider after serving his British apprenticeship in the lower leagues.He said: "Of course this is a massive honour for me but I have to say the role of captain in a speedway team can sometimes be overplayed."It's a team effort and Freddie Lindgren will be on hand to help the rest ofthe guys just as much as me."
(SPEEDWAY 2) DUDLEY have completed their 2010 squad with the double swoop of teenages tars Tom Perry and Darryl Ritchings.Wolverhampton-born Perry is a fine Grass-Track rider but is keen to try hishand at the shale sport.Ritchings, meanwhile, rode a handful of meetings for Newport last season.Said boss Will Pottinger: "Tom is a bit of an unknown quantity in speedway terms but he comes highly recommended and I haven't seen too much of Darryl but he's very enthusiastic."
