NEW Workington signing Peter Kildemand has arrived in the town to take his first laps on the Derwent Park track.He will go through his paces at the club's press and practice day on Saturday along with the rest of the Comets.Workington owner Keith Denham said: "He's really excited about the prospect of racing in Britain and was impressed by our track."He has recently had a practice in Croatia with the Danish international squad, where Nicki Pedersen was among the riders taking part."

RUSSIAN Roman Povazhny will join fellow countryman Emil Sayfutdinov in Somerset's 10th Anniversary Celebration meeting next Friday, March 19.Povazhny has raced for several British clubs throughout his career but is currently without a team in the UK.Rebels Promoter Debbie Hancock said: "We are extremely pleased that Roman was able to accept our invitation, he is the type of entertaining rider that should thrive at the Oak Tree Arena."We will be opening the turnstiles a bit earlier than usual on the night, at 5.15pm, this to allow those fans who wish to attend the Emil Kramer Memorial Service to get into the stadium in good time for the start of the Service at 5.45pm."
