24 Chevrolet Cruzes stripped-out and ready to lay down some rubber!
The test sessions and first race of the ADAC Club Sport’s new CruzeCup series are just around the bend. With the cars taking to the track for the first time for a 2-daytest at the Motorsports Arena in Oschersleben on 27 March, preparations at Wiechers Sport in theGerman town of Nienburg are moving at full speed.
This signals Chevrolet Europe’s first foray into single-make, spec-racing, with a car that couldhardly better represent the brand’s positioning by offering fantastic value for money and reliability(and not only on the track!).
The German tuner has taken delivery of 24 Chevrolet Cruzes, a car that so far they have onlyknown as their challenger in the World Touring Car Championship, and with a few rebuilds alreadycomplete, customers will soon be able to get their hands on their spec racing cars. The series willrun 10 endurance races on racetracks in Germany and the Netherlands, with the season-finaleand prize-giving ceremony taking place at the Motorsports Arena in Oschersleben on 16 October.
