Facu Regalia was the seventh fastest in the first day of the Barcelona Formula BMW Europe test. It was a tough day for him after a difficult night with gastroenteritis.

The Hispanic-Argentinean driver was at Circuit de Catalunya preparing the 2010 Formula BMW Europe season. However, Facu Regalia had to overcome huge difficulties to sign the seventh time, loosing just seven tenths to the fastest. He was the fastest within Eifelland Racing, though he completed just twenty laps.

The last night and this morning were very hard for the young driver with gastroenteritis putting him in bed in very bad shape. He tried to recoverand decided to get in the car.

The test continues at Montmeló and Formula BMW Europe Championship will start at this circuit on May 7th, 8th and 9th.
