(SPEEDWAY 1)EDINBURGH secured a tense Spring Trophy aggregate win over neighbours Glasgow.They restricted the Tigers to a 48-45 success on the day at Ashfield but it was enough for the Monarchs to win 96-93 on aggregate. Ryan Fisher and Kalle Katajisto notched 12-points each.Jubilant Edinburgh co-promoter John  Campbell said: "I was always confident.I knew we were strong in Heat 14, and Ryan Fisher said 'Give me gate 3 or 4 in the last one and I will definitely win it.' He did."(SPEEDWAY 2)REIGNING National League champions Bournemouth are anxiously awaiting further medical reports on skipper Jay Herne.The Australian has suffered a back injury after crashing for his Premier League team Somerset in their weekend clash at Newport. There are concerns over his foot as well.Bournemouth boss Garry May said: "It's obviously a major concern with the new season upon us and we will wait for more updates on Jay before making any further comment.
