Round 1: Foxley Autotests - 28th March Reigning MSA British Autotest Champion Alastair Moffatt clinched the Fastest Time of the Day (FTD) at the last gasp on Sunday’s Foxley Autotests, as he began his bid to capture a third consecutive title. Moffatt was pushed hard all day by Richard Pinkney, who held a 0.9-second lead after 12 tests aboard his Caterham. Both drivers fared well over the final four tests but it was Moffatt who excelled, posting some stunning times to win by 5.2 seconds.Rob Rolston overcame some electrical gremlins in his Mini to win Class A, while Irishman David Thompson dominated Class B and finished a fine 8th overall on his MSA debut in a Vauxhall Nova.Pinkney took Class C honours and, with Alastair Moffatt taking FTD, the Class D award went to Duncan Wild in the ABS Freestyle.
