The popular special “drifting” sessions for enthusiasts to demonstrate their skills of car control powering sideways are back again, while new High Performance sessions will feature cars of 200bhp and more.

There will also be the circuit’s popular “new to track” sessions for drivers who have never been on a circuit before, and as always driver behaviour will be closely monitored with “red card” rules for those who drive inconsiderately and spoil the enjoyment of others.

The owners’ clubs taking part will be featuring an A-Z of performance cars from the Astra to the Z4 and there will be a number of trade stands selling spares and accessories, while enthusiasts will enjoy a day of all-track action. Many car clubs have booked their own track sessions while there will be strong competition to win the “Car of the Show” and “Club Stand of the Show”.

The Action Days are now hallmark events at Castle Combe circuit and provide an opportunity for clubs and owners to see a huge variety of vehicles and to enjoy some performance driving under controlled conditions, with all the facilities that a modern motorsport venue has to offer.

Track passes cost £35 on the day, or £30 in advance, while adult admission is £8 in advance or £10 on the day. Cars taking part must be street legal and comply with strict noise limits.

Track sessions run from 9am to 17.00 and cameras are a must .
