HM Plant Honda and Ryuichi Kiyonari have took pole position in the opening Swan Combi Roll for Pole of the season at Brands Hatch
Kiyonari said: "I am happy with pole position; especially here at Brands Hatch but I now have a high expectation for tomorrow's races. I wasn't sure if I could do it but in the final session it all worked well after the changes we made and I was able to go faster. The conditions have been so changeable that it has been really hectic for us but now I want to carry the momentum through to tomorrow and I am confident that we can push at the front. It is a fantastic way to come back so now I want to continue tomorrow and have two good results for the HM Plant Honda team."
Tommy Hill claimed second on the Worx Crescent Suzuki, with the remainder of the front row made up of BSB rookies in the shape of reigning National Superstock champion Alastair Seeley on the Relentless Suzuki by TAS alongside the first Motorpoint Yamaha of Dan Linfoot.
