SWISHER MSA English Rally Championship

Round 2: Malcolm Wilson Rally, 5 March

Darren Pinchin and Ashley Sleights are tied atop the SWISHER MSA English Rally Championship points table following round two, the Malcolm Wilson Rally.

Experienced crews were not the only championship class winners on the event; 18-year-olds Ash Slights and Tom Hughes  again won Class E1 for standard cars of up to 1400cc, ahead of Joe Evett and Calvin Houldsworth, with both crews finishing ahead of many more powerful cars on the event.

Meanwhile it was 17-year-old Alex Parpottas, another graduate from the Junior 1000 Championship, who won Class E4 in a Ford Fiesta ST, accompanied by the experienced John Connor.
