THE FIRST DB4GT ACROSS THE LINE!
We will never tire of watching Gregor and Dario team up for a race! The dynamic duo were kindly invited to drive this fantastic ex-Stirling Moss Aston Martin DB4GT, which was the first of the six DB4GTs in this race to cross the line. The car was brilliantly prepared by RS Williams and we thoroughly thank them and the owner for their support!
BROOKLANDS TROPHY - FROM P10 TO P7
Christoff had an epic midfield battle with the Invicta of Alan Brown and the Aston Martin of Robert Blakemore in the Brooklands Trophy. Driving the 1924 Vauxhall 30/98, Christoff outpaced and outlasted much of the field to place comfortably inside the top-ten at the finish. Thank you to Brewster Mudie for the continuous preparation and support.
OLIVER'S SUSSEX DEBUT
Oliver enjoyed his first race in the Cooper T-49 'Monaco' in the Sussex Trophy. Whilst the Finburgh/Marcais pairing qualified well and showed good pace in the race, they unfortunately had to retire before the end.
A GREAT RACE FOR GREGOR IN THE FREDDIE MARCH
Gregor was honoured to be asked to race XKC 006 in the Freddie March Memorial Trophy. The fantastically original car, which we recently sold to its new owner, did well in the race with Gregor deftly working his way up from 14th to finish 10th. CKL Developments, who have a 51-year relationship with XKC 006, did an excellent job with their originality-preserving preparation.
Jenson Button and XKC 018 led the race for a number of laps, and a great battle between him and Chris Ward in another Jaguar C-Type made for exciting viewing.
