The REBELLION Racing team members and drivers are looking forward to a busystart to the 2011 season with the Le Mans Series Test Days at Paul Ricard HTTT atthe end of this week and the Sebring 12 Hour race, the first round of theIntercontinental Le Mans Cup, next week.
REBELLION Racing is ready for the challenge! The Lola-Toyota that will race for thefirst time next week at Sebring has already left the workshop for the USA and the twoother sister cars were loaded into the team’s trucks yesterday, en route for the Southof France.
During the Le Mans Series Test Days, REBELLION Racing will present to the mediatheir new Lola-Toyota LMP1 cars and 2011 driver line-ups.For the first time, the media will be able to see the team’s red, white and gold liveriedLolas powered by the 3.4 litre RV8KLM Toyota engine actually in action.
All six REBELLION Racing drivers will be present at Paul Ricard. In car #12, regulardrivers Neel Jani and Nico Prost will be joined by Jeroen Bleekemolen and in car #13Guy Smith will rejoin Andrea Belicchi and Jean-Christophe Boullion at the trackwhere they achieved a podium finish in the Le Mans Series opening race of 2010.As soon as the two day test in the South of France has ended, the drivers andcrew will fly to the USA for the Sebring 12 Hour week where they will join upwith an advance party of team members who travelled ahead to oversee theunloading and set up of the third Lola-Toyota and equipment.
